SGS

What is SGS?

SGS are small group subjects - following topics and subject areas that fall outside of the regular curriculum. SGS encourages the development of characteristics of the IB Learner Profile and also allows for opportunities for students from the ISG and the Maartenscollege to integrate and work together.

  • Students of MYP1, 2 follow two SGS groups each week, one on Tuesday (first lesson hour) and one on Thursday (first lesson hour).
  • Students of the TTO (1X, 1Y. 1Z, 2X and 2Y) and for term 2, MYP3, follow one per week: either on the Tuesday or the Thursday. 2Z who follow gymnasium do not have SGS.

Further information about the SGS programme and the range of topics available can be found below.
